                                 Mefenamic acid                     I.P.   250mg

Storage:-  Store Protected from light & moisture at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.

Directions for Use:- Swallow it as a whole with water, do not crush, break or chew it.

Description:-   

DROSIER-M is a combination of two drugs: Drotaverine Hydrochloride (anti-spasmodic) and Mefenamic acid (NSAID). Drotaverine  is an antispasmodic durg, a pain relief medicine; used to treated and relieve smooth muscle spasms Mefenamic acid works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Together, DROTAVERINE+MEFENAMIC ACID helps in relieving pain.

Drotaverine Hydrochloride   is an antispasmodic durg, a pain relief medicine; used to treated and relieve smooth muscle spasms i.e. is seen in menstrual pain, abdominal pain, pain due to kidney stone and biliary stone and gastrointestinal colicky pain.

Mefenamic Acid  is used for the short-term relief of mild to moderate pain from various conditions such as headache, dental pain, menstrual cramps, and muscle aches.Mefenamic acid is known as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body's production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation.

USES :-

·        Spasmodic dysmenorrheal

·        Colic pains (including ureteric)

·        Biliary and intestinal colic 

·        Pain after surgery

·        Renal colic pain

Side effect :-

·        Diarrhea,

·        Dryness in mouth

·        Rashes

·        Nausea

·        Vomiting

Precaution:-

·        Avoid consumption of alcohol while taking DROTAVERINE+MEFENAMIC ACID as it may cause increased drowsiness. It can also increase the risk of stomach bleeding.

Direction  for use :-  Take this medicine by mouth with or without food.

 

Description:-

RHINOX   is a combination of three medicines .CETIRIZINE HCL+PHENYLEPHRINE HCL+ PARACETAMOL belongs to a category of  'cough and cold medications' primarily used to treat the common cold and allergic symptoms like sneezing, watery eyes or itchy/watery nose and throat. The common cold is a respiratory illness affecting the nose and throat, mostly caused by viruses known as 'rhinovirus'. The virus attacks the body through the mouth, nose, or eyes and spreads quickly through droplets in the air when a sick person sneezes, coughs or talks.                      

Cetirizine Hcl   is an antihistamine medicine that helps the symptoms of allergies .it is  provides relief from symptoms such as blocked or runny nose, sneezing, and itchy or watery eyes. It can also give relief from allergic reactions after insect bites and symptoms of hives and eczema such as rash, swelling, itching, and irritation.

Phenylephrine  Hcl   is used for the relief of stuffy nose, sinus, and ear symptoms caused by the common cold, flu, allergies, or other breathing illnesses (such as sinusitis, bronchitis). This medication works by decreasing swelling in the nose and ears, thereby lessening discomfort and making it easier to breathe. 

Paracetamol    is a commonly used medicine that can help treat pain and reduce a high temperature (fever). It's typically used to relieve mild or moderate pain, such as headaches, toothache or sprains, and reduce fevers caused by illnesses such as colds and flu..

·        Pain & fever

·        Dizziness

·        Sleepiness

·        Dry Mouth

Precautions :-

·        During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.

·        Take CETIRIZINE+PHENYLEPHRINE+ PARACETAMOL with caution, especially if you have a history of Liver diseases/conditions. The dose may be adjusted by your doctor as required.
