Description:-

KUFRIZA-DX   Is a Combination of three medicines. Chlorpheniramine+ Dextromethorphan +  Phenylephrine.                     

Chlorpheniramine is an Antihistamine. Dextromethorphan Is a Cough Suppressant. Phenylephrine is a Decongestant. is a Combination medicine used to treat cough, runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, Itching, and water eye caused by allergies, The common cold, or the flu.

Chlorpheniramine  Is an Antiallergic Medication. When your Body Is Exposed To an Allergen (Pollen, Animal Dander, House Dust Etc.), It Produces A Chemical Called Histamine. This Causes Watery Eyes, Runny Or Blocked Nose, Sneezing, Skin Rashes, Itching Etc. Chlorpheniramine Maleate Works By Blocking The Action Of Histamine, Thereby Relieving These Symptoms.

Dextromethorphan     Is used To Relieve Coughs Due To Colds Or Influenza (Flu). It Should Not be used for Chronic Cough That Occurs With Smoking, Asthma Or Emphysema Or When There Is An Unusually Large Amount Of Mucus Or Phlegm (Flem) With The Cough.

Phenylephrine    Is used to relieve nasal discomfort caused by colds, Allergies, and hay Fever. It Is Also used to relieve Sinus Congestion and Pressure. Phenylephrine Will relieve Symptoms But Will Not Treat The Cause Of The Symptoms Or Speed Recovery. Phenylephrine Is In A Class Of Medications Called Nasal Decongestants. It Works By Reducing Swelling Of The Blood Vessels In The Nasal Passages.

·         Nausea

Precautions :-

·        During pregnancy, this medication should be used only when clearly needed. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor.

·        Take CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE + DEXTROMETHORPHAN + PHENYLEPHRINE  with caution, especially .if you have a history of liver disease. The dose may be adjusted by your doctor as required.

·        Take CHLORPHENIRAMINE MALEATE+DEXTROMETHORPHAN +PHENYLEPHRINE with caution, especially . if you have a history of kidney disease. The dose may be adjusted by your doctor as required.
