As a laxative that acts on the colon, sodium picosulfate specifically stimulates the natural evacuation process in the lower region of the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, sodium picosulfate is ineffective in altering the digestion or absorption of calories or essential nutrients in the small intestine. 

Liquid Paraffin :

It is used in the treatment of dry Skin. It relieves dry skin conditions such as eczema, ichthyosis and pruritus of the elderly. Liquid Paraffin is an emollient (substance that softens or soothes the skin). It works by preventing water loss from the outer layer of skin. Precautions :

Take F2LAX PLUS by mouth as directed. For the liquid form, shake the bottle well before each dose. Carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device/spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose. If you are taking this medication for constipation, drink a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) with each dose. Follow all directions on the product package, or use as directed by your doctor. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.

Extended use or overuse of this medication for constipation may result in dependence on laxatives and ongoing constipation. Overuse may also cause diarrhea that doesn't go away, dehydration, and mineral imbalances (such as high magnesium).

Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. For constipation problems, it may take 30 minutes to 6 hours to produce a bowel movement. Signs and symptoms of Meniere's disease include:

Dusting Powder Introduction :

A powder used on the skin or on wounds especially for allaying irritation or absorbing moisture is called as Dusting powder. It is used for established osteoporosis in postmenopausal women, to reduce the risk of vertebral and hip fractures. Osteoporosis is the loss of bone mass resulting in brittle bones which can fracture more easily and is often associated with lack of oestrogen in postmenopausal women. It is also used for induced osteoporosis following treatment with a corticosteroid, an anti-inflammatory steroid that can cause bone loss and to correct defective calcium metabolism, which results in weak bones, due to renal osteodystrophy caused by chronic renal failure, particularly when undergoing haemodialysis; hyperparathyroidism (high levels of parathyroid hormone) with moderate to severe chronic renal failure (pre-dialysis), hypoparathyroidism (low high levels of parathyroid hormone) from various causes, and rickets. Calcitriol promotes calcium absorption in the intestines and retention at the kidneys thus increasing serum calcium levels. It also increases renal tubule phosphate resorption consequently decreasing serum phosphatase levels, PTH levels and bone resorption.
